Autumn - Feeling Cosy

This week the weather has been lovely Autumn days, misty and foggy in the morning, turning to bright sunshine during the day, but cold and crisp.  The dogs have certainly enjoyed their walks!

Crafting away this week, finished my Autumn Garland and a little hedgehog to go along side (just love hedgehogs!)

Thankfully it came out exactly as I had imagined in my head (yep my head is full of wool), it was great fun experimenting with the different shapes as it was all in my head, not from a pattern, love the little toadstools they add a lovely pop of colour.

Little Miss Hedgehog just looked so cute I had to add a flower to her hair, not sure if I should have done the 'spikes' all the way down her body, maybe I will make a Mr Hedgehog that way :)

I will have two projects on the go this coming week as I am so eager to do both, I shall be attempting my own paper cut (eeek!) and making my Winter Garland, ready to add to the Christmassy feeling decending on our home :)

Have a lovely week all, off for some late breakfast

Hello

This is my first go at blogging....so here goes!

This is Florrie May and William, Florrie was my Grandmothers name and taught me everything I know about baking, knitting and crochet so this blog has been created in her honour

This was my last project a beautiful flower blanket made of 144 crochet squares for a very special little girls Christening present

my current project is an Autumn Garland, I just love the changes in the seasons and have decided to make a garland for each of them, I will post a photo when its finished

I'm sure I will get better at blogging as time goes on!

xx
